Baby has grown from 990 grams to 1.3 kilos. She is still at the NICU and currently taking her antibiotics for the Sepsis infection. She had another blood transfusion a few days ago because her hematocrit and hemoglobin have gone low. Thank God her CBC results were fine after the transfusion. She is still dependent with oxygen. This is our baby now:
This is our bill as of July 31.
We humbly knocking on your kind hearts to please help our Baby Sophiea.
¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤Last June 25, 2017, I gave birth to my little angel Sophiea Scarlette. I experienced eclampsia so I had to deliver her at 29 weeks through caesarean section to save both our lives. I know she is too excited to see this beautiful world but her excitement has to wait as she is still at the NICU of Chong Hua Hospital. As of the moment, she is already extubated and is on Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP). Baby Sophiea's hematocrit is too low that she has to undergo blood transfusion. I know in my heart that our itty-bitty-990-gram angel will be able make it as she is a fighter. The beautiful sky and the breeze of the sea is awaiting for her, but until then she remains in her temporary home, the NICU.
Her temporary home is too expensive to maintain. The estimate hospital bill is about more than One Million to 2 Million in Philippine pesos. My husband and I are ordinary employees, and we won't be able to raise the amount by ourselves. We already asked friends and relatives to donate blood to help us raise the money. We are so grateful to those who helped. The amount though is still a lot short. So, we decided to create this gavagives fund raising to augment our hospital bill funds. We are knocking on your kind hearts to help us with this fund raising. Please help us.
