Gava takes your privacy very seriously.

To facilitate accurate and expeditious processing of your transactions, and ensure an enriched, encouraging, and satisfying business environment, Gava collects information from you and all other users.


This Privacy Policy describes how Gava handles your personal information. Gava collects and receives for our services on the Gava. Personal information is information about that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, landline and cellphone numbers.

Collection and Use

Gava collects information when you register to any of our services, when you avail yourself of any of our promotions and features or purchase an item. Gava may collect and store the following information such as your name, email address, landline and cellphone numbers, birth date, gender, occupation, industry, personal interests, and (depending on the payment method used) financial information such as credit card or bank account numbers. Gava also collects information about your transactions and use of any of the products and services that is being offered in the APP. Gava automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser including your IP address, cookie information, software and hardware attributes, and the page(s) you request. These information are occasionally used to notify and advise users of Gava enhancements, additional and special services, and other such information that are pertinent to your use of Gava and to provide, customize, and improve such services and customer support that you might request. These information will also be used as basis to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and compare information for accuracy and compare it with third parties.

All information, physical and/or electronic documents collected by the merchant/sub-merchant may be shared to PayMaya and its affiliates/subsidiaries, service providers, including payment card issuers, MasterCard, Visa , JCB and relevant law enforcement agencies for the purposes of retrieval requests, and/or for dispute/fraud/chargeback.


Gava may disclose personal information to meet legal requirements, implement Gava policies, and respond to claims of postings and other contents that violate the rights of others, or protect anyone’s rights, property, security, or safety.

Gava may also share these personal information to:

(a) Gava employees who we believe have to come into contact with that information to provide products and services to you;

(b) service providers under Gava contract who help with our business operations;

(c) other third parties whom you explicitly request us to send your information to;

(d) law enforcement and government official, in response to verified request relating to a criminal investigation or a criminal activity.

(e) other business entities, if we should plan to merge with, be acquired by, or be connected to that particular business entity.

Edit and Delete Account Information and Preferences

You can edit your Gava Account Information anytime. Gava reserves the right to send you certain communications relating to Gava services, such as announcements, service notices, administrative messages, and all other information that we consider part of your Gava Account, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.


Our PRIVACY POLICY is subject to change at our sole discretion and any private information provided is not available except for the use of Gava and its sole agency subject to all existing laws as applicable. We may change our PRIVACY POLICY from time to time, and our changes are effective after we provide you with at least thirty (30) days’ notice of the changes by posting the changes on a prominent location in our APP, and broadcasting it via IM, email, SMS, or any available mode of communication to users who select such notification.


Gava does not and will never collect member emails for phishing purposes. “Phishing” emails are scam emails sent by third parties using the name of legitimate companies to collect private information from its customers such as financial details like credit card numbers or passwords.

Gava only sends emails to its members as notification or instructions for the transaction processes they have engaged in at Gava.

Gava will never ask for your personal information via email. If you receive an email from Gava asking for your personal information and you have concerns about its authenticity, please do not hesitate to report it to us for verification and for proper security measures.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. As a result, while we try to protect your personal information, Gava cannot guarantee the security of any information you transit to us, and you do at your own risk.
